The facility gate is the most overlooked point in digitalisation: plates written by hand in the gate log, illegible signatures and missing entries noticed hours later. A licence plate recognition system does away with that log — the plate, direction, time and image of every vehicle entering and leaving are recorded within seconds.
The model is trained specifically on the Turkish plate format and works at night, in rain, with muddy plates and at oblique angles. For a whitelisted vehicle the barrier opens automatically; an unregistered vehicle is reported to security with a live image. Integrated with weighbridge, visitor management and dispatch systems, it turns the record at the gate into operational data.

The vehicle is detected and the plate region isolated; the shutter setting prevents motion blur.
Character recognition
OCR tailored to the Turkish plate format; uncertain characters are re-verified across frames.
List check and escalation
If whitelisted, the barrier opens; if unregistered or blacklisted, an alert with image is sent to security.
The gate record is the cheapest data on site
On its own, plate data is a security record; matched with time, it becomes an operational metric. The time a vehicle spends at the gate, the time it waits at the loading dock and its total time on site all come from the same record. Whether shipment delays originate at the dock, the weighbridge or the paperwork can be told apart from how these three durations are distributed.

Accuracy is determined by camera position, not the model: a camera that views the plate within 30 degrees of head-on, with a short shutter speed, reaches the top band in all conditions.

Required camera specification: Fixed camera viewing the plate at no more than 30°; 2 MP is sufficient. Before installation we assess your camera inventory free of charge and report which points are suitable and, if needed, which camera should be added.
How accurate is it in the field?
Measured accuracy: 99%. Accuracy is determined by camera position, not the model: a camera that views the plate within 30 degrees of head-on, with a short shutter speed, reaches the top band in all conditions. Thresholds are calibrated on your own site during the pilot.
Which systems does it integrate with?
Barrier relay, weighbridge, visitor management, ERP/WMS, REST API. Events are published over REST API and MQTT, so it connects to your existing MES, ERP, VMS and alarm infrastructure.
Is it compliant with KVKK, Türkiye's data-protection law?
Footage is processed on an edge server inside your facility; raw video is not sent to the cloud. Facial recognition is not used; analytics outputs are anonymous and event clips are deleted automatically when the defined retention period ends.
